This class is designed for dancers movement artists and athletes.
We start with breathing exercises (PRANAYAMA) to help center the mind and body.
The bulk of class consists of the asanas, mindfully addressing alignment variations and relieving common areas of tension i.e. neck, back, hips. We then move into a vigorous vinyasa fusion with pilates & plyometrics elements to strengthening the hips, back, core and legs.
The class ends with a few passive poses to further stretch & cool down the body, a guided visualization body scan meditation, 7 metal Sound Bowl Healing and an OM.

Stephanie L. is certified in Yoga RYTT 200hr, Group fitness (AFAA) and Personal Training (NASM), est 2013. She has 9 years of teaching experience as the CEO and Founder of UrbanYogaNYC, and 25 years as a professional dancer in NYC. Her approach is integrative, mindful yet challenging, efficient and effective, designed for the typical New Yorker.
